Happy Mothers Day!

I solute all the wonderful mothers who have worked tirelessly to develop beautiful human beings.

To my mother

Dear Mom,

I have finally come to the place where I am able to truly say that I have forgiving you. I am no longer angry, sad, hurt or consumed with the feeling of abandonment. I have learned a great lesson from our experience together. I have learned from the extreme and heart crushing pain you inflicted on me, which I view today as a short coming from your misguided steps but it taught me how not to be as a mother if I do have any children of my own, along with an understanding of the internal war we each battle within ourselves. I can't imagine what pain you must have been going through to allow you to behave in such a mannor towards me but It breaks my heart to think that you felt so alone, unhappy and without anyone to confide in to help you through whatever you were going though. I have been blessed with the gift of insight, love forgiveness and learning from all my life's experiences, so thank you for the life lessons without even knowing you were teaching me valuable ones. I am here, right were I am suppose to be and for that I am thankful.

We are not yet were we are suppose to be in our relationship as mother and daughter but with time I am positive I will come around and we will get to that place together.

Thank you for trying so hard in the meantime.

I truly do LOVE you and appreciate you but most of all I FORGIVE YOU.

Your daughter Kai

"Creativity": Like Oxygen for Your Soul

This video just made my night :-)

While watching this I could actually feel my soul smiling :-) AMAZING!

I quite enjoy it when I come across artist who think outside the proverbial box, and who are also able to take me along on their creative ride.

 I hope you enjoy also!

Phenomenal Woman

Today I feel so inspired to inspire YOU, so I will share one of my very favourite authors and one of her very inspirational poems. Though out the week I will post her other works that have inspired me to be wonderful and wonder-full. :-)

I encourage every woman to love, respect and treat theirselves with the highest regard. For, as we have learned, if we don't do this for ourselves, there are no guarantees that someone else will.

I am the first to admit that we wont always have positive days or positive thoughts but when we are feeling down and disillusioned; remember that you/we are Phenomenal WOMEN with the power to shift our thinking and our own life's outcome to a positive one! After all we are indeed creators, lovers, healers, the givers of life, knowledge holders, storytellers, and so much more.

Be inspired and have a blessed and happy new week.

Kai

Phenomenal Woman
By: Maya Angelou

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms,
The span of my hips,
The stride of my steps,
The curl of my lips.

I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.

When I try to show them,
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump around
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing,
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
The palm of my hand,
The need for my care.
'Cause I'm a woman

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Sucky People

People really suck sometimes! Ugh... I really can't stand selfish behaviours.

Thank the heavens I know how to be a lone wolf.

"Just shout out their noise and you'll be fine" this is what I tell myself, but am I fine? Will I be fine? Only time will tell so I'll remain faithful.

Unenlightened Spiritual Leaders and Healers.

If you claim a truth, LIVE by it! Inauthentic spirituality is utterly unenlightened and it breaks the heart of God the Universe and it angers me to my core. What you are essentially doing is telling a huge lie on God the Universe... Is that your aim? If so then, right on! Keep doing what you are doing but know that you are a Fraud.

Ego has no place within YOUR work so relinquish the egoic-self and be free at last so you can thank God almighty that you are free at last ;-)
Seriously though! I am sick and tired of encountering Inauthentic spiritual leaders and healers.
If your claim to fame is to help humanity ("women", men and children) etc. then how can you hate and demonstrate hatred towards your fellow brothers and sisters? Please fix yourselves before you step into such a powerful role of leader or healer, if not then you will be causing more damage them good to the people you come in contact with either directly or indirectly. Fix yourselves NOW! I thank you and the rest of humanity thanks you.
Be Blessed.

I think my puppy is depressed.

So I have been putting it off and putting it off but finally called a place and booked an appointment! Yay!

What am I speaking about you ask? Well I'll tell you, I'm referring to booking an appointment to get my little pup groomed, since it seemed that I allowed his beautiful and soft luscious hair to get super super tangled. Anywho, I called the groomer, Boo Boo Pet Grooming Services and booked my Dougy in for his first appointment with this highly recommended grooming service.

Sunday morning around 11:15a.m my little pup and I set out on our adventure of the day "Dog Grooming" I know, I know... sooo exciting :-)

None-the-less, we arrived at our appointment in high spirit and Dougy was excited to explore the new environment and eat whatever crap he could find on the ground! Grrrrr sooo annoying but whatever, as my grate-grandma use to say, "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger"... haha, that's the philosophy I'm using with my dog... what a dog mom I am eh! :-)

Okay, back to my story, so we get ready and head to our appointment. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a super friendly woman who welcomed Dougy and introduced him to the groomer who greeted me with shocked words and a disgusted gester. Picture him saying "oh my god nooo no nooo! How could you have let this happen to him?" in a thick gay spanish accent... too funny, anywho, he took Dougy and promised to give me a call in a few hours because the time he estimated it would take to cut my dog and having him looking like a handsome little guy again was undetermined. So, I thanked them, apologized profusely and parted ways with my dog. About two hours later I received the call that my Dougy was ready to be picked up. I emediatly gathered my belongings and headed down to grab my dog. Upon arriving I was greeted with a much different looking dog than the one I dropped off not too long before. Dougy was cut right down to his skin and he looked kind of like a rat... hahaha... Okay, I admit that it's a bit mean to laugh but I was anticipating him to look a bit weird but not sooo weird!! :-)

Dougy and I walked back home since it was such a beautiful day out on Sunday and boy was Dougy every cold! even though the weather was not at all cold to me; Dougy seemed to be feeing the wind on his back like he had never felt it before... lol. It is now Monday night and Dougy is recluse to his bed and he has a super sad look on his face :-(  He's not running around and playing like he is use to doing.

My question is, should I be worried? lol

How can I get my dog out of his no hair funk?

Below you'll find two photos, one of before his grooming and the other of after his grooming. What do you think?

Spring Equinox

So today, March 20th is the first official day of “Spring”—Spring Equinox to be exact and the astrological New Year. This happens when the sun changes into Aries, which melts away the chill of winter and brings with its arrival new life, new beginnings, rebirth and a fresh starts.

Bright and early in the morning time we are to gather together to celebrate this amazing NEW YEAR and Spring Equinox, which is also known in the Wiccan circle as Ostara. Ostara is a time of balance; a time of equal parts light and dark. This newness will allow us to caste away all things that have been hindering us from growth and allow us to pursue new and amazing goals in our personal and professional lives. Whatever you desire to attract into your life; love, peace, harmony, balance etc, now is the time to celebrate this wonderful time of rebirth.

A brief break down of what the Equinox mean:
“During the Spring (or Vernal) Equinox, we in the Northern Hemisphere catch "spring fever," as plants and trees sprout new leaves and begin bearing fruit (in the Southern Hemisphere, the same date marks the Fall Equinox). Love is in the air -- ancient Celtic and Mediterranean peoples celebrated the Spring Equinox as a sacred marriage between God and Goddess. This was symbolized by the custom of hand-fasting, a form of betrothal. Thus, it's a wonderful time of the year to begin or revive a romantic relationship, or to initiate new endeavors of all kinds. The early Egyptians recognized the Sun's passage into Aries as a sacred turning point of the year, and built the Great Sphinx so that it points directly toward the rising Sun on the day of the Spring Equinox. For our ancestors, the birth of spring meant that winter's cold was ebbing, dwindling food supplies would soon be replenished and bellies would be full once again -- certainly a cause for celebration. And party they did, for days on end, as bonfires raged to help rekindle the light and warmth. Equinox literally means "equal night." At the Spring Equinox, day and night are the same length, with light ascending. Hence the theme of rebirth or resurrection, which is echoed in the Christian tradition of Easter -- celebrated soon after the Sun moves into Aries. The symbols of Easter bunny rabbits and eggs have their roots in pagan traditions that honored nature's fertility. Ironically, the name "Easter" was taken from a Teutonic lunar goddess, Eostre, whose holiday was held on the Full Moon nearest the Vernal Equinox. Since the church does not celebrate Full Moons, they designated Easter to be celebrated the Sunday following the first Full Moon after the Equinox.” (Butler, Simone The History of the Spring Equinox, Daily Horoscope, http://www.dailyhoroscope.com/horoscope-headlines/history-of-spring-equinox, 2012,03,18)
